About LevelUp

Six private Trackman iO bays in Stoney Creek. Self-serve, open 24/7, built by a Hamilton golfer for players across the region.

From the operator

Why I built LevelUp

I'm Bart, and I run LevelUp Indoor Golf in Stoney Creek. I've played golf for about ten years, mostly casual rounds with friends, and I built this place to fix the stuff that always got in the way of actually playing.

A few things bugged me. You can never get a tee time when you actually want one. When you do get out to practice, you're basically guessing, because nothing tells you what your shots are really doing. And the whole thing falls apart the moment the weather turns. I wanted somewhere I could play or practice whenever it suited me, all year, with real numbers on every shot.

My first plan was cheaper: dig out the basement at home until I had the clearance to swing a driver. My wife was not on board. So instead of one questionable bay under my house, there are now six proper ones with ceilings tall enough to actually let it rip.

Why it's all self-serve

I come from the tech world, so I built LevelUp the way I'd build a product. Every bay is private and fully automated, open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with nobody working the floor. You book online, the door lets you in, and the bay is yours.

Going fully self-serve was one of the easier calls I made. It's how I'd want to play, and everyone I talked to about it felt the same way. Most would rather just show up, play at their own pace, and have the bay to themselves and whoever they brought along. We all know the feeling: first tee shot of the day, the starter standing right there watching, and suddenly you have no idea how to swing a club. None of that here. No front desk, no one to wait on, and no audience for the shanks.

Built by a golfer, for golfers

I'm not a pro. I'm a golf enthusiast who got into the game enough to care about the details and want better tools to improve. Pretty much everything here started with one question: what would I want as a player walking in the door? If I wouldn't use it myself, it didn't make the cut.

Serving golfers across the Hamilton region

I live in Hamilton and have for a long time, so this is home. The facility is at 188 Barton St in Stoney Creek, right off the QEW, which puts it within an easy drive of most of the region. If you're coming from Hamilton, Burlington, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown, Grimsby, or Winona, you're not far.

Hamilton has always had a strong golf community. LevelUp is my attempt to give it a proper indoor option, one that fits around your schedule instead of making you fit around it.

The technology and the space

Every bay runs Trackman iO. I went with it because it's the most accurate launch monitor on the market, and it's the same system the pros use. The software is just as good as the hardware: every shot gives you real numbers you can act on, the interface is quick and easy to live in, and there are hundreds of real courses loaded up to play.

I'm proud of how it all came together. The technology is the best out there, the space looks and feels the way I wanted, and the brand turned into something I didn't expect. We opened in March 2026 and golfers have already played over a thousand rounds here. Want to know what people actually think? Read our Google reviews.

Who it's for

Some people come in to grind on their swing with real data. Some bring a few friends after work, or the family on a weekend. Some just want to shoot a lower score. It all works here. Up to four players a bay, any hour, any day of the year.

You'll probably catch me in one of the bays too, still working on the driver swing that started all this. The basement, my wife is glad to report, went untouched.
